Put Sprung Trapline
on your phone

There's nothing to download from an app store. Add it to your home screen and it opens like an app, full screen, and works offline.

  1. Step 1

    Open it in Safari

    Go to sprungtrapline.com in Safari. Other browsers on iPhone can't add it to the home screen.

    Tap Share

    Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Step 3

    Add to Home Screen

    Scroll down, tap Add to Home Screen, then tap Add. Open Sprung Trapline from the new icon.

Before you head out

Save the map for the ground you trap while you still have signal. Your sets, lines and properties show on top of it with no service.

    Open the app with signal

    Open Sprung Trapline from your home screen once while you have service, and sign in. That stores the app on your phone.

    Find your ground

    On the map, move and zoom so the area you trap fills the screen.

  3. 3

    Save the area

    Tap + then Save area offline. Everything inside the orange frame is saved. Keep the app open until it finishes.

  4. 4

    Check it

    Tap the map-style button until it says Saved. What you see is what you'll have with no signal. Saved areas are listed on the Season tab.
